This is DB9 Female type connector with the facility to solder wires on inner side for making serial cables as per your customized connections. The DB9 (originally DE-9) connector is an analog 9-pin plug of the D-Subminiature connector family (D-Sub or Sub-D).The DB9 connector is mainly used for serial connections, allowing for the asynchronous transmission of data as provided for by standard RS-232 (RS-232C).

The DB9 female connector provides an easy and convenient way to perform field termination of any cable. Separate connection points are provided for all 9 positions of the connector plus the ground. Terminal block design with set screws provides reliable electrical connections utilizing no special tools.
